Jogging Stroller Travel System

If you own a double jogging stroller and would have to drive to the park or wherever the jogging route that you usually take is, one of your primary concerns would probably be getting a good transition in moving your child from your car to the stroller. There are usually two issues that pop up when you try to get this smooth change between the two wheeled vehicles, the bulk of the stroller and car seat and your child’s struggles to move.

Think about the first situation; it is already difficult to pack in a jogging stroller because of the bulk, but when you have to factor in the car seat, then it becomes so much more difficult. This is especially true if the car that you own is a compact one, and not one of those SUVs.

The second issue pops up because it would be much of a hassle to strap your child in a car seat, with all of its safety harnesses and belts, take out all of them, and then make your child sit in a stroller only to tie him up again with other safety devices. This would usually irritate the child and make them throw tantrum. This would be extremely difficult if it was just you and your child!

The Solution: Jogging Stroller Travel System

These two factors are the main reasons that jogging stroller companies have now made a jogging stroller travel system. A jogging stroller travel system is what you would call a combination stroller. They are usually made out of two parts, a detachable child seat and the frame and wheels. These two part setup enables a quick transition from one vehicle to another or from the car to the stroller.

Two Part Setup

The two part setup helps by giving you these things. It first enables you to easily store the jogging stroller in your trunk or backseat. This is because the frame and wheels would be easily folded and would take up a much lesser space than if you had to fold a one piece jogging stroller.

The detachable seat, aside from enabling the frame and wheels to be folded easily, also acts as a bassinet. This would allow you to easily transfer your child from one place to another, or to easily move from the stroller to the car. You would just need to reattach the seat to the wheel and frame and you would be good to go!

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Travel Systems:

As previously mentioned, the biggest advantage that you can get is that you would be able to easily transition between your stroller and your car. You wouldn’t have to fuss or struggle over having to change seats or packing your jogging strollers.

Unfortunately, it literally comes at a price as one of the main drawbacks of jogging stroller travel systems is that they can get quite expensive. As compared with other jogging strollers, getting a travel system could set you back by nearly 100 dollars more.

But if you have the money to spare, then you would really be pleased with the benefits that you can get from a jogging stroller travel system.
