Jogging Strollers With Car Seats

As you may well know, jogging strollers can get to be quite bulky. The strollers would usually need a wide and tough frame to be able to withstand the stress of jogging through difficult terrain. Unfortunately, this wide and tough frame is one of the main reasons for the stroller being bulky. They would need to be thick and tough for them to have that durability.
That is why using a car (especially the small ones) with a jogging stroller has become a small conundrium for parents. While they would want to take their jogging strollers with them, they would have a hard time balancing the fit of a car seat and a jogging stroller into their cars.
Fortunately for these parents who are facing a similar problem, there are now various techniques and innovations with regards to jogging strollers that would give you that ability to mix jogging strollers with car seats. They range from additional accessories to your stroller, to other strollers simply having that feature in the first place.
Here are two examples of the innovations that would allow you to have jogging strollers with car seats:
Jogging Stroller Travel Systems
The Jogging Stroller Travel system is similar to other jogging strollers except that they are made out into two interlocking parts. These two parts are the child’s seat and the frame and wheels of the stroller.
Because they are in two parts you would be able to easily fold the frame and wheels of the stroller to place it in your trunk or backseat. On the other hand, the seat can act as a bassinet where you can place your child even without having to setup the stroller.
In some models the seat can even be built in a more sturdy and safe manner so that it would also be able to perform the role of a car seat,
Car Seat adapters
Another way to combine together a car seat and a jogging stroller would be through using car seat adapters. For example, the BOB single jogging stroller has a separate accessory called the BOB Single Car Seat Adapter that would enable you to simply use the car seat that you are currently using (depending on the model of course) and transfer them to the wheel and frame of the stroller.
To be able to do this, the car seat adapter is attached firmly on the frame of the jogging stroller without lifting the stroller’s seat. This would allow the car seat to take the place and position of the usual seat of the jogging stroller.
One advantage of this is that you would not have to untangle another mess of safety harnesses and belts if ever you want to transition your kid from the car to the stroller. This is a great feature for parents who do their jogging without their partners as it would be much more manageable than having to force your kid to transfer seats and having to tie up belts and safety cables again.
With these kinds of options at your disposal, finding that peaceful xoexistence of jogging strollers with car seats is much easier than before!
