One of the more recent innovations today when it comes to jogging strollers is to make them become complete travel systems. However, the usual tradeoff is that for your stroller to feature this new advancement, it would mean that you have to pay a larger cost. This makes people wonder if having complete travel systems in their strollers is truly worth it.
To understand if a feature is worth it, it will be important for people to know what exactly it is and how the feature could help them in their use of the stroller. In this case, we are discussing complete travel systems, so here is a brief background on what they are.
A complete travel system is usually a feature of more advanced jogging strollers. These feature means that either the stroller has a built in system that can accommodate a certain car seat or that the stroller itself has a way for the parents to transform its seat or carriage area into a car seat.
Another aspect usually associated with complete travel system features in a jogging stroller is that they are usually mid-sized and easy to fold. Usually, the body and the wheel section of such strollers can be folded down into a very tight and compact manner. This makes them easier to store at the trunk or backseat of a car.
As you can probably surmise from the features, the complete travel system’s main goal is to make it easier for you to move your child between your vehicle and unto the stroller. They want to make a seamless transition between the jogging stroller and your car without hassles of multiple car seats, transferring your child from one set of straps to another and similar annoying and trivial activities.
Given these feature and goal of the complete travel system in a jogging stroller, the next question is who are the people who would really benefit from this feature?
The answer to that would probably those who have to take their cars and drive to the place where they would use their jogging strollers. If you need to have a short drive to the grocery and you want to bring your child along, it would be very inconvenient to have to keep on setting up car seats and strollers, just to be able to shop.
Another answer could be the people who need long drives to get from their place to home. Many parents would consider the convenience of transferring their children to a stroller when they are already sleeping in the car a very good one. You won’t need to wake them and instead would just need to attach the car seat.
The bottom line is that as the name implies the complete travel system in jogging strollers are for those people who do a lot of travelling in their cars. If you primarily use jogging strollers for walks around the neighborhood and do not use or even own a car, then you can probably skip it and save on the costs.
However, people who spend lots of time shuffling between their car and the jogging strollers may be fascinated with the convenience of having seamless transitions between the two vehicles.
