One of the higher end baby strollers in the market, especially when it comes to quality and price, are those made by Bugaboo. Bugaboo strollers have a reputation for being of top quality, and it has the price to match such a standing.

One of their products is the Bugaboo Frog Stroller. Built for babies up to children for up to 4 years of age it is a 3 in one system that parents can use in order to take their babies with them wherever they want to go.
When one purchases the Bugaboo Frog Stroller they get:
- 'Frog'-like suspension
- Small swivel wheels.
- Seat adjustable to 3 position reclining seat
- Converts to a two wheel position to be pulled on the beach or snow
- Adjustable/reversible/removable seat/bassinet:
- Reversible handlebar
- 5-point harness
- Khaki-lined interior
- Generous sun canopy to block sun and elements.
So does the Bugaboo Frog Stroller live up to the lofty expectations set by the price and the Bugaboo brand?
What I like about the product:
- Frog-like suspension system
Apparently, the Bugaboo Frog Stroller is partly named because of the “frog like” suspension system that it uses. The suspension system is located in the small swivel wheels and really provides good shock absorption for the entire stroller.
This frog-like suspension allows the Bugaboo Frog Stroller to easily navigate curbs and bumps and other uneven train, while providing a smooth ride for the one occupying the seat.
- Reversible seat and handlebar
I like the reversible seat feature of the Bugaboo Frog Stroller. It allows my child to see where we are going with just a simple push and tilt of a button.
I also like the reversible handlebars, as it makes it easier to move in another direction. Instead of turning or rotating the entire stroller, I just need to switch the orientation of the handlebars.
- Khaki lined interior
The khaki lining in the interior of the Bugaboo Frog Stroller is very soft. This makes it smooth and very comfortable for my baby during the times that her skin is in contact with the fabric.
- Maneuverability
For using on streets or other smooth surfaces, the Bugaboo Frog Stroller is tops when it comes to handling.
It’s lightweight design and streamlined body makes it a breeze to push around.
Things that could be improved on:
- 2-wheel mode maneuverability
While the Bugaboo Frog Stroller is very easy to move around when it comes to smooth surfaces, it becomes quite difficult to handle when you are in rougher terrain.
The 2-wheel mode that the Bugaboo Frog Stroller features is quite hard to tilt and swerve.
- Price
The price of the Bugaboo Frog Stroller can really make people think twice about this purchase. It is in a price range that people would not regularly consider for a stroller.
I can’t help but think that the Bugaboo Frog Stroller would have been great at a lower price.
Bottom Line:
If it is in your price range, then the Bugaboo Frog Stroller is a great stroller. The frog suspension system that it uses really helps in giving your baby a smooth ride across even or paved terrain.
However, those that would go through nature trails or rough paths, may look for other options, as the 2 wheel mode that the Bugaboo Frog Stroller features for such situations is not easy to handle.
